My motivation for diving into this project was my desire to create a cohesive travel set for myself and my husband. After a recommendation from my Facebook group, I decided to give the Tribbiani Traveller Bags a try. Spoiler alert: I was not disappointed.

The Small Bag: Compact and Chic

First up, the small bag. I crafted this handbag-sized beauty using a wool blend and vinyl, complete with two tone straps and a convenient crossbody strap. Perfect for a day out or a casual evening, this bag is both stylish and functional. I found it the perfect size for my toiletries bag and my hairdryer when travelling too.

Medium Bag: A Nod to Nostalgia

Next, we have the medium bag, inspired by my honeymoon in Scotland. Made from Harris Tweed, its colours reflect my wedding, making it not only a practical choice but also a sentimental one. This bag is just right for those weekend getaways or short trips. This one has been claimed by Husband, its size is perfect for him for a weekend or a few days away and looks great on him too.

The Large Bag: Spacious and Stylish

For the serious traveller, the large bag is a must-have. It's spacious enough to accommodate all your travel essentials and more. I chose a wool blend fabric and added leather accents, creating a bag that's as durable as it is stylish. Now this bag isn't for the faint hearted, not for those that haven't visited a gym in the while, as once full it takes some lifting lol!! But one thing I can say once with this bag I haven't have a trip I haven't manage to fit everything I need in this bag and still had some room to bring back some fabric from my travels.

Customisation and Personalisation

One of the highlights of my review is the attention to detail and personalisation. I closely followed the pattern instructions but added my own accent pieces to each bag, making them uniquely mine. This level of customisation is a great reminder that patterns are just the beginning – your creativity is the limit.

Quality Materials Make the Difference

From wool blends and vinyl to reclaimed leather and Harris Tweed, each material was carefully selected for its quality and aesthetic appeal. I sourced hardware from my own website, ensuring each bag was finished to perfection, and I couldn't have been happier with the out come.

Beyond the Pattern: More Creations

In addition to the travel set, I’ve made a number of other bags which are showcased on my social media. One standout is a special project I made for a friend’s 50th birthday, demonstrating my passion for creating meaningful, handcrafted items.

Practical and Travel-Friendly

One of the key points I highlight is the practicality of the Tribbiani Traveller Bags. They aren't overly structured, which makes them easy to store and lighter to carry – a big win for any traveller. These bags strike the perfect balance between functionality and style.
