I made the exterior using a beautiful combination of soft grey faux leather and warm wool-blend fabric, giving the bag a cosy, classic feel without being bulky. It’s finished with sleek gunmetal hardware and the real showstopper: a stunning butterfly zipper pull that adds a touch of charm every time you use the front pocket. It’s one of those little details that makes the whole bag feel extra special.
 
The Sunshine Satchel pattern (by Woodland Stitches) gives this bag its lovely shape and super-handy layout. On the front, you’ve got an easy-access vertical zip pocket — perfect for popping in your phone or anything you reach for regularly. Flip it round and there’s a full-size slip pocket across the back, ideal for quick grab-and-go moments.
Inside, you’ll find a beautifully roomy main compartment lined in the prettiest vintage-style floral cotton. There’s also an interior zipped pocket to keep your important bits safe and sound. The bag closes with a top zip so everything stays secure while you’re out and about.
The quilted faux leather base adds structure and durability, complete with bag feet to keep the bottom clean when you put it down (because let’s be honest… café floors are a gamble).

Keep it out of direct sunlight, and try not to overload it — too much weight can put stress on the seams and hardware over time.
